In a span of over two decades, Tom Brady has gone from being the 199th pick in his draft class to the winningest player in NFL history. The quarterback who recently won his seventh Super Bowl ring became the first athlete in NFL history to achieve the feat.
With years of dominating the league under his belt, Tom, 43, is still looking to play on. And why not? The quarterback has stuck to his strengths and improvised his game to reap the rewards over the years.
But talks of retiring still continue to be a recurring theme regarding Tom Brady. And the QB usually has a cheeky response to such questions.

One such incident transpired when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB was attending a draft day event online with NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe.
No Tom Brady, no content
The NFL Draft-a-Thon, a fundraiser event, was brought back for another season to raise funds for charities dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
Celebrities and former players such as Kevin Hart, Deion Sanders, and Julian Edelman were among the few who attended the virtual event alongside Brady and Sharpe.
Discussing about the uncertainty of Aaron Rodgers’ future in the NFL, Sharpe said that only Tom Brady can upstage the Green Bay Packers QB by retiring within the coming six months. The cheeky dig at Brady though solicited a reply from the QB.

“No, what would you guys have left to talk about on your show?” said Brady. The show Tom Brady was referring to is ‘Undisputed‘. A show where Sharpe and NFL analyst Skip Bayless debate about topics related to the world of sports.
Sharpe has earlier hit out at Brady various time in the past. Most recently he revealed his “problem” with the QB.

During an episode of Undisputed aired back in April, Sharpe had criticized Brady. He criticized the QB for trying to publicize himself as being the only athlete who has encountered doubters.
“The problem that I have with Tom Brady is that he tries to make every experience that he has unique to Tom: ‘I’m the only guy that’s ever been doubted.’ What professional athlete, regardless of the sport, do you think hasn’t been doubted?” Sharpe had said.
