The NFL revealed the winner of the 2022 AP NFL MVP, and Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers won it for the second time in as many years. After another year of individual excellence in football, he received his 4th career MVP award. The race for the MVP award was between recently retired NFL QB Tom Brady and himself. The Packers QB put up one of the most efficient seasons from his position.

The win seems bittersweet for NFL fans, with many believing that Brady should have won it. Rodgers received 39 votes out of a possible 50 voting members, while Brady only received 10 votes. Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp received the final solitary vote. Many believed that the 7-time Super Bowl champion was the clear winner on the back of one of the best seasons of his career.

But respect needs to be placed on one of the most talented QBs in the game. Despite the overwhelming dissent on social media, all the nominees and the winner deserve recognition for their spectacular individual seasons.
