Tom Brady was a friend of former President Donald Trump Jr. However, he became a friend of Trump’s long before the latter became President of the USA. Despite that, Brady’s name was often associated with Donald Trump whenever the public disliked something done by Trump.

Tom Brady had enough of it and has released a statement regarding it. Brady wanted to distance his name from Donald Trump as it was hampering his image among the people of the USA.

In his new Variety interview, Brady talked about Donald Trump and said, “I haven’t talked to him in a lot of years,” It further proved that the 7-time Super Bowl champ doesn’t want to do anything related to the former president of the USA.

Tom Brady also talked about how the media has continuously misled the public into believing that he and Trump are still close. Brady said, “I think they just mischaracterized a lot. And my personality isn’t ever one to insult anybody. I have plenty of my own flaws. I’m not here to point out anyone else’s flaws. There are things that I agree with. There are things that I don’t.”

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback made it clear that there were many things that he would agree upon and there would be many things he wouldn’t agree upon. He doesn’t want his name to be associated with what another person has to say. Mainly because those words aren’t coming from his mouth.

Tom Brady wants to block the outside noise

With what the great Tom Brady has said during the offseason, it’s pretty clear he doesn’t want the outside noise to affect him. He is solely focused on winning another Super Bowl with the Bucs.

Brady came back from a short-lived retirement to win more. As a result, he wouldn’t want to be affected by outside rumors and stories that he isn’t responsible for. Tom Brady will be locked in for the upcoming season of the NFL. It will be a scary sight for the rest of the league.
