Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady started the season pretty well, as his team won back-to-back games in the 2022 season. The Bucs head coach, Todd Bowles, earlier reported that Brady will take a day off on Wednesday. However, it seems like the veteran quarterback changed his mind and decided not to take a day off.

Earlier, news came out from the Bucs camp that Brady will take a day off for the upcoming season to rest his body and heal properly. It is worth noting that Brady did a similar sort of thing last year as well when he occasionally took a day off. In Brady’s absence, backup quarterback Blaine Gabbert will continue with the proceedings.

Alongside Brady, Bucs wide receiver Julio Jones was also supposed to take the day off. According to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport, Brady felt good to practice with the rest of the team, which is why he did not take the day off.
Tom Brady got into an altercation during Sunday’s game against the Saints
During Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints, Brady called out the referee for missing a completion. Then the Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore showed some gestures toward Brady, and he could keep his calm, which resulted in an alteration. Later, Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette also joined the fight.

As a result of the altercation, the NFL suspended Evans for one game, which he will reportedly appeal against the decision. After the match, Brady talked about the fight and expressed his disagreement with Evans’ suspension. However, he did appreciate Evans standing up for him as a proper teammate.

Meanwhile, Brady is currently going through a personal crisis as there were rumors about a possible fight with his wife, Gisele Bundchen. Before the start of the season, Bundchen was not very happy with Brady’s retirement U-turn. While speaking with Elle, the Brazilian model said, “I would like him to be more present.”
After Sunday’s game, Brady talked about getting too emotional during the match. “I’ve gotta be really mindful of that going forward and getting my emotions in a good place so it allows me to be the best player I can be. I think there’s an importance where you can become too overly emotional, which I definitely think I was yesterday,” Brady said in his weekly podcast.

Next Sunday, Brady and the Bucs will face Aaron Rodgers‘ Green Bay Packers. So far, the Bucs made a perfect start to the season, and it will be interesting to see if they can maintain their winning streak against the Packers.
