The Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is one of the most in-demand and successful quarterbacks in the league. After completing a 20-year campaign with the New England Patriots, Brady landed a new home in Tampa Bay. Even though tight end Rob Gronkowski was retired at that time, he came back and joined hands with Brady to begin a new chapter of his NFL career. However, per the recent revelations on social media, the Brady-Gronk duo were destined to go with the Raiders, but the last-minute refusal ended them with another team.

For the past few days, Tom Brady was out of the Buccaneers’ training camp, citing personal reasons. After an 11-day leave, the quarterback returned to the field ahead of their third preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts. While speaking to the reporters at the press conference, Brady touched on various topics, including his decision to go with the organization.

“You know, since I came to this organization, it’s been amazing. It’s just been an amazing experience for me to come to this place and be as supportive as I had over a long period of time,” he said to the reporters.

Although he didn’t explicitly mention the Raiders’ offer, Brady explained that his heart was always with the Buccaneers. “I’ve read all these stories about all these different places I was supposed to go or could have gone, and I’m like, I only was gonna go to, you know, one place which was here,” he added.

For the past two seasons, Brady has been dominant as the quarterback, age being just a number for him. He also won a Super Bowl title, cementing his roots in franchise history.

UFC president Dana White claims to have put up a deal for Tom Brady

The UFC 278 with the Gronks was an eventful show with many secrets unveiled. Dana White joined the session hosted by Rob Gronkowski through a virtual meet and dropped a truth bomb that was mined for more than two years.

He revealed that he had prepared a deal for Rob Gronkowski and Tom Brady to get them into the Raiders’ locker room. Everything was on the table until the last minute, the then-head coach Jon Gruden blew up the deal and decided to go ahead with Derek Carr.

“I worked to put that deal together for Brady and Gronk to come to the Raiders,” said White. However, destiny landed him with the Buccaneers. This not only cost them a Super Bowl, but also a formidable partnership that could have changed the entire face of the franchise.
