NBA star Shaquille O’Neal expressed his thoughts about his fellow LSU grad Joe Burrow. ‘The Big Shaq’ on his show, “The Big Podcast with Shaq” lauded plenty about Bengals superstar quarterback Joe Burrow.

During his podcast show, Shaq had a few words to say about the GOAT Tom Brady. Shaq praised Brady for his successful career.“He is going out on a perfect note. The way his book is written, it’s perfect! It will be like a rocky start, with a surprising end,” said Shaq. Following his comments on Brady, Shaq turned his attention to Joe Burrow, his fellow LSU alum.

He said that it’s good for Brady that he retired because a fellow LSU alum is coming to replace him.“ He better get out of the way. My boy Joe Burrow is coming for the spot……. Joe Burrow is coming baby!” Shaq said enthusiastically. While giving his flowers to Brady, Shaq said, “Listen, Tom, I love you. I’m glad you stepped down, cause Joe Burrow is coming.”

Joe Burrow defeated the Patty Mahomes-led Kansas City Chiefs in a game he will remember forever. His triumph in the AFC Championship has made him the center of attention, and the ‘LSU Tigers’ have a lot to be proud of since then.

Joe Burrow, the LSU pride

As a redshirt junior, Burrow made the switch from Ohio State to LSU and started playing as a starting quarterback. In 2019, he was named again as the starting quarterback heading into his senior season.

Joe was awarded the Heisman Trophy in December 2019 and won the National Championship in 2021 after defeating the Clemson Tigers. As a result of his six touchdowns and 463 passing yards, Burrow laid the groundwork for victory.

Burrow’s outstanding college football season earned him an invitation to the 2020 NFL Draft. The Cincinnati Bengals drafted him as a first-overall pick, and Burrow was also a favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. The LSU alumnus has come a long way and has led the Bengals to the Super Bowl.

Therefore, Shaq, the LSU Hall of Famer, expressed his enthusiasm about Joe Burrow going to the Super Bowl. Spice Adams and Nischelle Turner struggled to get Shaq to focus on the topic, even in the podcast. He kept talking about Burrow instead.
