Joe Burrow has become a sporting sensation after helping the Cincinnati Bengals clinch their first Super Bowl spot after a very long time. However, what has really caught the attention of the NFL community is his dedication to the sport and an uncanny resemblance to the GOAT Tom Brady.

The leadership and the confidence of the Bengals quarterback, cannot be denied. He was drafted as the first overall pick to the lowly Bengals after winning the Heisman Trophy with LSU. Although his debut season turned out to be a flop after sustaining a season-ending ACL injury mid-season, he did come up strong this season.

Burrow’s commitment made him dominate the AFC North with an exceptional run. And then make a phenomenal comeback against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. With that he clinched his first Super Bowl spot in just his second year, ending a 33-year drought for the Bengals.

The NFL pointed out how the youngster is fairly similar to the Tampa Bay quarterback, especially after the AFC Championship Game. One of the most undeniable similarities between the two beasts is that they both reached the Super Bowl in their second year as a starter in the NFL.

In fact, Brady led the Patriots to a Super Bowl XXXVI victory after replacing Drew Bledsoe in Week 2.

Furthermore, it was also pointed out that Tom Brady and Joe Burrow are the only two players to have knocked out Patrick Mahomes from the playoffs.

Nothing else could make the GOAT happy than watching a player with great potential come to life so early in his career. And so Tom Brady, during his recent appearance at the Let’s Go! Podcast, mentioned how impressed he is with the 25-year-old achieving great heights.

“I think Joe’s got some tools that I didn’t quite have when I was his age,” Brady said. “So super impressed by how he’s kind of come into the league and went to Cincinnati, which has been a tough place to play over the years.”

He continues, “And, you know, two years into his career, after a really tough injury last year, showed a lot of mental and physical toughness coming back and having an incredible season.” The Tampa Bay quarterback also mentioned how he used to follow the LSU alumni and marvel about the youngster’s commitment.
