Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat the Seahawks 21-16 at Munich’s Allianz Arena. However, near the end of the 1st half, Brady ended up in a head-on collision when he took a knee. Luckily, Tom Terrific didn’t suffer any injuries and didn’t have to be put on the concussion protocol.

TB12 left the game with no concussion protocol worries

Tom Brady discussed the play on the Let’s Go Podcast with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald. The five-time Super Bowl MVP made it clear that he sustained no concussion-related injuries in the hit and said it was part of the 1-yard line play. “That’s what happens. You’re backed up, and they’re trying to make a play and I took one right in the face,” Brady said.

Brady even compared his hit to Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen, who was involved in a similar play against the Minnesota Vikings. TB12 reassured fans and media that his hit was “not as bad as what Josh Allen dealt with on his play.” Tom Brady finished the ball game with 258 passing yards and 2 winning touchdowns. Leonard Fournette also had a touchdown after covering 57 yards.

Concussion protocol questions also came up during the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers game on Sunday. Chargers QB Justin Herbert had a helmet-to-helmet collision with Niners LB Dre Greenlaw that led to the linebacker’s ejection from the game. However, Herbert sustained no damage from the hit, and Niners fans questioned the officiating. Luckily, the Seahawks didn’t face any such problem against Brady and the Buccaneers.
