Tom Brady has had some legendary pairings in his NFL career. Several fans loved the Brady-Gronkowski duo. While with the Patriots, the QB1 formed strong bonds with Julian Edelman. Now that both of them are out of the game, The Pharaoh is running his course with the Buccaneers. Several Bucs athletes hold great importance, but he cannot think about competing without one teammate.
Ahead of the Week 16 game with the Cardinals, Tom Brady appeared in front of the media on Thursday. The QB1 spoke about franchise OT Tristan Wirfs, who received his second Pro Bowl nomination this year. He lavished praise on the athlete and stated how difficult it was to play without him.

Tom Brady mentioned, “He’s done a great job since the day he got here. We all love having him out there with us, and it’s been tough not having him out there with it. When he’s not out there, we all notice it. He’s really learning how to be a real professional and he takes his job seriously.”
“He’s obviously very talented; Just his size, his ability and keep people out of the backfield. Very difficult to go through and he’s very hard to go around. So, he doesn’t get beat very often. Very very very rarely, so I’m really happy for him. He certainly deserves it, and just, it’s, if he sticks with it there’ll be a lot more of those,” Brady added.
It was not a lucky season for Tampa’s offensive section. Especially Tristan Wirfs, who suffered a leg injury during the Browns game. But will he be able to be back for the final three games?
Will the two-time Pro Bowler compete in Week 16?
The Buccaneers suffered a void when Tristan Wirfs sustained a knee injury against the Browns. The damage appeared catastrophic, leading many to assume he had withstood a season-ending knee injury. But there is a positive update coming out of the One Buc Place. Wirfs sustained a high ankle sprain, which would not halt his season.

While the OT has not competed in the games since then, Todd Bowles was upbeat about the Buccaneers‘ key offensive tackle. Wirfs is attempting to get back into position and could make a comeback this Sunday against the Cardinals.
