The 7-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has learned to remain calm under pressure- on the football field and when he has to keep a huge secret from his wife, Gisele Bündchen. The pair has been ecstatic since June 2009, following the announcement of Bündchen’s pregnancy with their first child.

As Bündchen neared her due date in December, the then-Patriots quarterback was doing everything to keep a secret.

During this exciting time, Brady came to know about the sex of their first child while Bündchen remained unaware. While talking about the secrecy with Boston’s WEEI Sports Radio, he stated, “I’m really the only one that knows. My dad asked me. I haven’t told him. [Gisele] doesn’t know. It’s a pretty good feeling knowing something that no one else knows.”

Brady seemed to have relished keeping this news a secret from his wife (Of course, with her permission). He had also put extra care into the words he used around Bündchen. The then-Patriots QB had been mixing up his pronounces to honor her process and keep it a surprise.

While talking with People magazine in 2009, Bündchen revealed how she always believed in putting her family first and how it was the base of everything in her life. She also shared that her family with the then-Patriots QB always was priority No.1 for her. She described her excitement and confirmed that she was looking forward to becoming a mother.

While Bündchen was about to experience being a parent for the first time, Brady already had a child with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

But since then, the pair have been lucky, raising a son and a daughter together. She attributed the success of their family life to the complementary roles with Brady.

While the now-Buccaneers QB has been focussing on his NFL career for 23 years, she has been taking care of the family.
