Tom Brady knows a thing or two about winning. Be it personal accolades or Super Bowls, Tom Brady has done it all and won it all. 

At the age of 43, Brady continues to defy all odds as he now gears up for another season of NFL football in 2021. But before the new season begins, it’s only fair that his excellence in 2020 is rewarded handsomely. 

Four months since his seventh Super Bowl win, the QB still can’t stop winning. Even in the offseason, he continues to win awards while participating in charity golf events.

This time leaving his impression on the prestigious ESPY awards, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers’ win sends a message to opposition NFL teams on who to watch out for in the upcoming season. 

Tom Brady wins big at 2021 ESPY Awards 

The ESPY Awards are organized each year to laud the individuals and teams for putting on exceptional performances on the field. And surely enough for his Super Bowl heroics, the quarterback got awarded with not one but two awards.

Tom Brady won the ‘Best Athlete, Men’s Sports’ and ‘NFL Player of the Year’ awards for his performances in the 2020 NFL season.

Over the course of the past season, Brady compiled over 40 touchdowns and led the Bucs to their second over Super Bowl win. His seventh overall.

Given Brady’s dominance over the past two decades, it’s no surprise that isn’t Tom Brady’s first ESPY win. With these two awards in 2021, the quarterback now has a staggering 17 ESPY awards to his name.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ efforts did not go unnoticed either. Winning the ‘Best Team’ award, the side pipped the likes of the LA Dodgers and Alabama Crimson Tide to name a few.

A few more NFL athletes also left their mark on the awards. Arizona Cardinals duo Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins won the ‘Best Play’ award for their incredible Hail Mary play against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2020 NFL season.
