Tom Brady has been having a rollercoaster of a year. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback may have unretired in quest of another Super Bowl victory, but that ambition seems like a faraway dream right now.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion has treated fans with a sub-par performance all season. With all credit going to a rather weak division, the Bucs have managed to stay atop the NFC South even though they are at 4-5.

TB12 has been facing issues off the field as well. His recent divorce from Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen after thirteen years of marriage made headlines. Since rumors of their troubled marriage had been circulating long before their announcement, the news did not come as a surprise to the NFL world.

While Tom Brady struggles to regain form this season, fans have been reading into the quarterback’s words and actions. His recent outbursts on the field have indicated that something is amiss.

Brady seemed to be in better spirits after defeating defending champions. the Los Angeles Rams. Although, it was more of a last-minute play that allowed the Bucs to scrape through victory, a win is a win.

Tom Brady fondly mentions his former team

On his podcast, ‘Let’s Go!’ Brady mentioned his former team and coach. While many move on after going from one team to the next, Brady recalled his former team with great fondness.

According to the New York Post, TB12 revealed that he still watches the Patriots every week. He said, “We had 20 years together of elite football experience that I wouldn’t have traded for anything in the world.”

He also expressed his admiration for Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and stated that he’s an amazing coach who prepares his team to win.

“… I just watch that team every week, and I’m impressed with how they prepare and the accountability that that organization has had. It always starts at the top,” he added. The Patriots aren’t doing great this season either. Ranked at the bottom of the competitive AFC East, the Pats are far, far away from their glory days.

Tom Brady and the Buccanneers will hope to turn their season around one step at a time by extending last week’s victory. They will take on a fiery Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks next, in Germany.
