College football is always exciting to watch. Unlike the pro leagues, NCAA competitions are always packed with a deeper play of the game and lesser flashy moves. Whether it’s D1 or D2, football purists go gaga over the competition between state teams as well as colleges within the states. Some developments in the coaching staff, recently, have made it even more intriguing. However, most D1 players look at NCAA competition as a stepping stone for the NFL. The competition is so fierce that some people even compare college players to the likes of players like Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Manning, and many more.
Furthermore, some of the comparisons go viral, making it to the screens of ESPN. Recently, a comparison went viral on Twitter that made fans judge the person making the comparison. The unpopular take came from ESPN analyst, Todd McShay. Interestingly, the comparison involved a QB from Alabama and Patrick Mahomes.

All in all, football fans online were not very happy with McShay’s take, and neither did they agree with his analysis.
