The Philadelphia Eagles are on cloud nine this season. With 6 wins in 6 games, the team is cementing its status as a Super Bowl contender. And their QB Jalen Hurts is possibly charting his career to become one of the best QBs in the NFL. And it seems, a contributing factor to becoming the best is knowing how to give motivational speeches. While he has always hyped his team up with a post-game speech, the one after beating division rivals Dallas Cowboys, had a bit more sweetness to it.

During the speech, Hurts can be seen emphasizing on the fact that the Eagles played like a family. Although the speech is not very family-friendly, with a tad too many bleeps filling in, the message was crystal to everyone listening. Play selflessly, play for each other, go out there and win games because that’s what they’re good at. It’s as simple as that.

The QB said, “Hey, I want to give a gratitude to everybody in this locker room right now. Everybody in this locker room can we talk about being a family? We talk about what that s*it means.” He added, “We practice that s*it every day. But today we played together. Today we had each other’s back. Today we played like a family— And I admire the faces y’all have here. I f*ckin’ love that s*it because we know what the f* we can do, and we know what we can be. And we know it’s in our hands. And that’s how it’s always going to be. But we continue to take these steps and take advantage of every opportunity we have moving forward and we can be a really dominant football team. Every f*ckin’ time. Every f*ckin’ play.

The Eagles have week 7 as their bye-week. And their next game is against the Pittsburgh Steelers, a game which should be an easy victory for Philly in many people’s eyes. But if the Steelers’ week 5 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is anything to go by, even the mighty can fall.

As for Pittsburg, their mindset will come as a result of their game against the Miami Dolphins on Monday. Fresh off their victory against the Buccaneers, they will be riding high in the hopes of another upset victory against the Dolphins. But they cannot possibly discount Tua Tagovailoa’s return, even though he suffered from a concussion recently.
