With just five days left for the 2023 Draft, teams in the NFL are gearing up to acquire rookies that have the potential to become the future greats of the game. The lineup for this year’s draft has potential, with young talents looking for a gateway to begin their professional footballing careers in the league. Amidst all the draft hype building up, Indianapolis Colts GM Chris Ballard shares his unfiltered opinion regarding draft queries that were made.

In a recent episode of the Rich Eisen Show, we see the Colts GM being asked in a press conference about whether he has an idea of how the first, second, and third overall picks will look like on Draft Day. To this, Ballard replied by saying that he does not have any clue of how things will shape up on April 27. He spoke about how everyone just believes that they have a source providing information, but the reality is that the accuracy of the mock drafts is unpredictable.

He said, “Just look at the mock drafts and tell me how accurate they are after the draft. Nobody knows. Nobody’s giving out information.” He further said, ”Everybody’s lying. I might be the most honest unfortunately. But everybody’s lying. I think you know well enough usually if you ask a question I’ll either dance around it or give you an answer. Today I’m a dancer”

There are many young top draft prospects for teams in the NFL to acquire at this time. Starting from the QB position to DE, the NFL world might see new talents take over the pitch in the 2023 season once again.
