“300 Pound D-Lineman Has Nothing”: Patriots Buddy Julian Edelman Trolls ‘Scared’ Tom Brady

Tom Brady has had some of the best friends with a lot of his old teammates. His teammates back in New England Patriots have truly become some of his best friends. The QB still goes on to post pictures and spend time with Rob Gronkowski, and Julian Edelman. The friends go on to playfully roast each other on social media for various different reasons. And the most recent tweet was no different.

Edelman recently took to Twitter to put up a funny tweet insulting the QB. Interestingly, the old Patriots WR indicated a unique celebration the two had done when they had won a Super Bowl.

Edelman and Brady had once gone to Disney World to celebrate their Super Bowl win over the LA Rams. With another ring added to his repertoire, the quarterback along with his wide receiver went on to have a great celebration with their visit. Referencing that, Edelman went on to put up a roast on his Twitter.

In his tweet, he said, “300 pound D-lineman has nothing on these rides,” as he compared the supposed scary rides at Disney World to some of the scariest defenses they have faced. Along with the caption, he posted a meme showcasing how Brady was gloriously fearless against the Seahawks and the Falcons as compared to the Tower of Terror ride.

Interestingly, the duo has been back at it again with their shenanigans on the Internet with their latest appearance on a podcast.

Brady and Edelman’s Beer Challenge

The two Super Bowl-winning friends made an interesting appearance on the podcast, ‘Games With Names’. During the podcast, both Julian Edelman and Brady spoke about the kind of camaraderie they shared as teammates and reminisce about their Super Bowl-winning days. There was also a very staunch presence of rivalry between the friends. During the show, Edelman even challenged Brady to a competition of chugging beer. This ensued a chugging battle between the two with Brady emerging victorious.

All in all, the interaction between the two was the kind between old friends. Interestingly, with Brady retired, it only remains to be seen how the QB’s interactions with his old teammates are going to be.
