Aaron Rodgers is nearing his Big Apple debut. While the New York Jets will be looking to ride on the shoulders of their new QB1 in the upcoming season, he’s already been impressing and making an impact in training. Apart from this, the 4X MVP is also soaking in the glamorous lifestyle in New York. From attending concerts to hitting Broadway, the 39-year-old is doing it all.

But recently, Aaron Rodgers made a controversial take on his choice of classic movies. And this led to fans coming forward to disagree with their new QB on his stance.

Aaron Rodgers makes a unique movie suggestion

Recently, Aaron Rodgers made his way to Broadway along with his Jets teammates. He and his teammates were there for the ‘Back to the Future musical’. It was a stage adaptation inspired by the 1985 movie directed by Robert Zemeckis. The QB recommended the musical, and call it a “must-see” in the stories he posted on Instagram. And now, Aaron Rodgers gives another unique verdict on the Back to the Future franchise. 

During a recent interview with sportscaster Peter Schrager, Rodgers talked about how he loves the time he’s spending off the field in New York. The 4X MVP then goes on to state that the third installment of the Back To The Future franchise is better than the second one. But Aaron Rodgers also went on to state that nothing beats the original movie released in 1985.

However, this statement made by the New York Jets’ newest QB1 has led to many eyebrows being raised. And fans took to social media to show their disagreement with Aaron Rodgers.

Some fans agreed to disagree with Rodgers’ BTTF verdict

Fans took to social media to share how they are not in agreement with Rodgers’ verdict of the Back To The Future franchise. One fan felt that putting part three of the franchise over part two is wrong, commenting, “Back to the Future Part III over Part II is a wild take! Need to rethink If I can trust my QB now.”

Another critic expressed that he would love to have a part 3, but added, “No way in hell am I taking it over part 2.” This fan commented, “Hot take: 2’s ending is the best in the series” One fan clapped back at Rodgers by suggesting that his preference has to do with his age, and wrote, “He’s just showing his age at this point”. One NFL fan wrote, “Ew. Swing and a miss.”
