The Cincinnati Bengals boast a talented roster. They are one of the toughest contenders for the Super Bowl championship in the NFL. With Joe Burrow leading the Bengals on the field, they had a 12-4 record last season, finishing first in the AFC North division. In 2000, they had their home ground, the Paycor Stadium open back in 2000. And now, owner Mike Brown has requested a loan of $493 million to develop the infrastructure of the stadium.

Amidst the stadium developments, the team has come forward to finalize a long-term deal with one key player for their defense. And this move ensures that this LB goes on to be a part of the team for years to come.

Back in 2020, the team brought in LB Logan Wilson in the third round of the draft. And ever since, the 27-year-old has gone on to become a formidable part of the Bengal’s defense. Throughout his career, Wilson has had 256 tackles, including 163 solo tackles and seven interceptions.

And it is because of this that the team has agreed to keep Logan Wilson on the team for the next few years. According to a tweet by NFL, the Cincinnati Bengals have agreed to a four-year extension worth $37.5 million. This decision comes as the LB was heading into the final year of his rookie contract. Last season, Wilson played for 15 games with 123 tackles and 2 ½ sacks. This performance led to the team putting their confidence in the 27-year-old for the next four years.

Joe Burrow is not grievously injured

Last month, fans were left in a state of worry after QB Joe Burrow was carted off the field at training camp. He suffered a non-contact injury during drills on the field. HC Zac Taylor stated that Burrow suffered a strained calf and is undergoing treatment. But to the relief of fans and the team, the injury was not very serious. The Bengals HC has confirmed that Joe Burrow is back spending his time doing rehab. The QB is continuing his usual routine off the field as it looks like his strained calf will not pose too big of a problem.
