When it comes to college football, the name Deion Sanders echoes visibly among fans. Ever since signing a $30 million contract as the HC of the Colorado Buffaloes, Sanders has been making headlines across the college football scenes. His arrival in Colorado saw a massive 700 percent increase in merchandise sales and also the growth of their social media to more than 800k followers. Apart from this, Deion Sanders has also managed to raise eyebrows following a massive exodus of players from the Colorado football program.

The arrival of Sanders saw 51 scholarship players join the NCAA transfer portal. According to Coach Prime, the massive exodus is a part of his strategy to build a great team to take the Colorado Buffaloes to new heights in college football. While Sanders enjoys the confidence of his boss in his vision for the football program, others may not be in sync with the way the 55-year-old thinks.

The Colorado Buffaloes had a dismal 1-11 run last season. This led to Sanders believing in the need for a massive overhaul of the roster in order to be as successful as he was during his stint at JSU. But Pittsburgh Panthers’ HC Patt Narduzzi is of the opinion that it is just an exploitation of the transfer portal by Coach Prime.

During a recent interview with 247Sports, Narduzzi came forward to state that the way Coach Prime used the transfer portal is “not the way it’s meant to be.” He went on to talk about how the massive Colorado Exodus “looks bad on football coaches across the country.” While talking about the exiled players, he said, “Those kids that have moms and dads and brothers and sisters and goals in life- I don’t know how many of those 70 that left really wanted to leave or they were kicked in the butt to get out.”
