The Buffalo Bills’ Week 9 loss to the New York Jets was an upsetting turn of events for the Bills Mafia. But it seems there may be more upsetting news for the Bills Mafia on the way. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen was one of the first to report about QB Josh Allen undergoing tests for his elbow UCL and other nerves. Bills’ head coach Sean McDermott says more news will be available after 24 hours, as Allen is still in evaluation.

Allen suffered his injury late into the 4th quarter, as the Bills tried to stage a last-minute comeback. As Allen prepared to launch the ball, Jets’ Bryce Huff brought his hands down on Allen’s. And thus, knocking the ball free. Allen was later seen shaking and flexing his arm, but stayed on for the final few plays of the game. Two snaps later, Allen threw an astonishing 70+yard pass to Gabe Davis. Whose inability to reel it in sealed the loss for the Bills.
Allen’s status for the Bills’ next game against the Minnesota Vikings will be a mystery. Until this week’s practice sessions are over, Bills’ fans will be collectively holding their breath. The 7-1 Vikings are a formidable opponent, and the Bills will need their star QB in perfect shape to help them forget this week’s defeat.
The Vikings are on a 4 game winning streak, and their only defeat of the season came at the hands of the rampant Philadelphia Eagles. Although their opponents together have more plays and average yards against the Vikings, they have a distinct lead in third down conversions (42-32), and touchdowns scored (23-19).
NFL Community divided over Josh Allen suffering potential UCL injury
Although many in the Bills Mafia will not be happy about Allen‘s injury possibility, a lot more in the NFL community are divided over the news. While many express sympathy, a lot many believe he is either scared of Kirk Cousins, the Vikings QB, or he is covering up for the loss to the Jets.
Bills QB Josh Allen is being evaluated for an elbow injury to his ulnar collateral ligament and related nerves, per source.

I agree. Solid statement. As bad as they were when we beat them, most of them were solid when Tua was hurt. I hope he’s alright. I wanna play and beat the best, at their best. Allen is a monster. I wanna play him at his best.

Hate to see anyone get hurt. Now bills have a back up excuse to lose in playoffs again. Just think at least y’all won your mid season SB against KC. That’s going to be in the record book….one day.

So the Bills will have to put up good performances if they want to secure a playoff spot even if they fall off the top of the table. Will Allen’s injury fears be just that, mere fears? Or will this be the blow that brings this dynamic Bills team to their knees?
