As the Brittney Griner situation unfolds, many athletes and activists share their thoughts about her detention. Earlier this year, the WNBA player got detained in Russia for charges of alleged drug usage. While athletes have offered their support for her, some have found themselves in a crossfire. Activist Charlotte Clymer took to Twitter, expressing that situations like these won’t happen with Tom Brady.
She believes such circumstances wouldn’t occur with any male athlete, especially a white male athlete. So, once again, the NFL GOAT finds himself in a situation he would not dream of being a part of. However, Brady did not respond to it.

Earlier, LeBron James was in the news for commenting on the situation. As the situation escalated, he issued a public apology and soaked the criticism. But it is hard to expect that Brady would want to get involved in this discussion after dragging his name into it.

But, Tom Brady wouldn’t be there, right? Because he doesn’t have to go to a foreign country to supplement his income from the WNBA.”

I can't imagine any American male athlete, let alone any white male athlete, being treated the way Russia is treating Brittney Griner. This simply would not happen to someone like Tom Brady, leaving aside that he wouldn't have had to supplement his income in the first place.
