Colin Cowherd revealed that even though the Packers offered Adams more money, he still chose to leave. The WR joined the Raiders and hopes to make an impact after reuniting with QB Derek Carr. In the end, the contract situation for Davante had become less about money and more about the game. He weighed in on his future plans without Aaron Rodgers.

On the show, Colin Cowherd lashes out at Aaron Rodgers for having a premature conversation with his former WR. He says, “This is precisely why you don’t talk about retirement. If I started talking about retirement every day, everybody on the staff would like, ooooh, get the resumes ready.”

Further, he revealed the difference in approach to talking about retiring and leaving teams by comparing Rodgers to the likes of Tom Brady and Russell Wilson. He said, “Tom Brady, after leaving New England, he went on Howard Stern. And he kinda did his I’m gonna tell you everything interview. He said then, ‘I made the decision a year ago.'”

Moreover, Colin said, “None of us knew because he kept it to himself, which was smart. Because if Brady would’ve said it out there, it would’ve been a distraction the entire season.”
