The Week 18 game of the Las Vegas Raiders against Kansas City happened to be an eventful matchup for wide receiver Davante Adams who was left stunned by 10-year-old’s oratory skills. It seems the budding elocutionist might pose a threat to all NFL journalists on air because his reporting skills are damn crazy.
After the game at Allegiant Stadium last week, Adams took the moment to appear for an interview instead of going back to the locker room. And guess what? This young reporter Jeremiah nailed it, speaking like a true gentleman embracing the greatness of the NFL star. All Adams could do is look at the little reporter with adoration and respect.

Interestingly, the young reporter had all those statistics at his fingertips which made the fans go crazy at him. “Wait, should I do my introduction?” the kid asked the cameraman. After getting a positive signal he went on.
“Now, I am here with Davante Adams, wide receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders. He has got 95 receptions for 1,443 yards. He has got 14 touchdowns, and he averages 15 yards per catch. It is an honor and a privilege to meet you today,” Jeremiah explained, asking Davante Adams about his greatest childhood memory.
He also mentioned that his favorite memory was going to Adams’ camp and recording a perfect seven on seven. Reverting a similar vibe, the Six-time Pro Bowler recalled a similar experience.

“Greatest memory of my childhood, I would say, when I was young, maybe about seven or eight years old, I had the opportunity to meet J J Stokes, who was with San Francisco at the time. That memory stuck with me because that was the first professional athlete that I met, and it was a great experience. Really nice guy, he helped out the young kids and gave us great advice, so I had to say that,” the wideout revealed in a proud manner. Soon the duo posed for a cool picture and parted ways.
NFL world was awestruck watching the kid interviewing Davante Adams
As one could expect, this moment took no time to spread like a wildfire on social media. Fans flooded the comment section with adorable responses and praised the young talent.

And @npr reporters could drop the “both sides” & euphemistic framing from their political reporting too. Take a cue from @TeenVogue @nprpolitics

‘What is one of the greatest memories in your childhood’ is such an interesting question and far better than most of the boring question on air reporters will ask
