Although he was able to get laughs from the crowd present then and there. His jokes have backfired. Especially among the NFL community, the comedian has extracted a few angry reactions. People are not pleased with the comedian’s insensitive joke, making him a public enemy.
This is sad. I don't care about what he's mocking and/or whether he's funny or not — that's subjective & he can roast whatever he wants — what's sad is that Jim Breuer is opening for Greg Locke.

Another fan called the comedian awful for making fun of Hamlin.
You're mocking someone who had a heart attack and nearly died while claiming to be Christian and having the moral high road. Just awful ppl.

While this fan-made a point to keep Hamlin’s injury away from controversial political topics.
He seems angry and not funny in the least. Damar Hamlin’s injury had nothing to do with the vaccine. Right wing are going hard after vaccines. Children have taken them for years to go to school- but these people are going to laugh at some comedian in a tent? It is a cult!

Another person expressed their displeasure with Breuer finding a joke in something as awful as this.
Less than 3 weeks after a nation traumatically watches a black man have CPR performed on him on live prime time television, that same man is “comedy” set material for the persecuted evangelical Right.
I hate it here. https://t.co/y9DH3WvZlb

Sometimes the jokes can be a hit or a miss, but this time it certainly hit the wrong chord with the NFL world.
Another day, another controversy
It appears that Hamlin can not keep his name out of the tabloid even after getting out of the Hospital. After being present in the stadium for the Bills’ 27-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, the player found himself dragged right into a conspiracy theory. Many people on the internet started to speculate about the heavily hooded figure of the player who could not have been seen under his shades and mask. From there, theories of a body double started to emerge onto the scene.
