Super Bowl LVII was a treat for the millions of fans who tuned in to watch the big game. But the lingering tension between some of those who took the field won’t be dissipating any time soon.
On Tuesday, Kansas City Chiefs WR JuJu Smith-Schuster took to Twitter to share a Valentine’s Day card. But this was no ordinary proclamation of love. The consequences of his tweet did not adhere to the theme of the day. So what did Smith-Schuster do?

During Sunday Night’s game, one of the most pivotal moments that may have defined the result was the holding call on Eagles CB James Bradberry. Although Philly fans will argue that the call was unnecessary, the CB confirmed that he had tugged on Smith-Schuster’s jersey. At the time, the two teams were neck and neck at 35 points each. With less than two minutes remaining, the penalty allowed the Kansas City Chiefs to manage the clock and edge the Eagles out 38-35.
But JuJu declared war after the big game. Basking in his victory, the WR took to Twitter and shared a Valentine’s Day featuring Bradberry’s picture and the caption, “I’ll hold you when it matters the most.”

The play on words alluded to the holding call that turned the tide during their Super Bowl face-off. But Bradberry came back at Smith-Schuster and subtly hinted that he had qualified for the All-pro team, unlike the former. However, his teammate AJ Brown took a more direct approach. The WR bluntly said-
First off congratulations. Y’all deserve it .This is lame. You was on the way out the league before mahomes resurrected your career on your 1 year deal Tik-Tok boy . He admitted that he grabbed you but don’t act like your like that or ever was. But congratulations again! 🎊👏🏾🍻 https://t.co/Z3SpMXnP4K
