It seems the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown doesn’t get enough of controversies and goes afar surrounding himself with more. Having only recently racked up the wrath of the NFL community after exposing himself in a pool in Dubai, he’s back at it again. Only this time, he’s taken to Twitter to post something most people would consider offensive and inappropriate.

On Tuesday, Brown posted a picture of an Arizona Cardinals’ eagle with a slightly larger head and sunken eyes. The caption right below it read “Retardinals” with Brown writing, “starting my own team sign up”

The image spread instantly, mostly because fans blasted him for posting such content.

Antonio Brown continues the trend of hurtful and offensive comments

Brown‘s Tweet comes in the wake of the Cardinals‘ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, wherein Arizona’s Matt Ammendola missed a 43-yard field goal to send the game into overtime. Though the Cardinals fought tooth and nail, the Eagles’ defense got the better of Kyler Murray‘s offense, ever so slightly.

But this is not Antonio Brown’s first offense. After the Bucs kicked him from the team for having a mid-game meltdown, he has been constantly poking at players and coaches. Including his former friend, Tom Brady. Recently, Brown posted this photo of him with Brady’s wife, Gisele Bündchen.

At a time when Brady and Bündchen are rumored to have hired divorce lawyers, this post did not sit well with the NFL community, who made their mind known. But it seems Brown isn’t concerned about his standing with the NFL community. To add more fuel to the fire, a recent video showed Brown misbehaving with guests in a hotel pool in Dubai. And with that came another controversy: a lawsuit filed in Dubai against Brown for reportedly stealing jewelry worth $120,000.

With Brown reportedly attempting to get back into the NFL, antics like these are certainly not going to help. His stats with the Pittsburgh Steelers may be very impressive, but surely no coach would want a player who fans hate, and trigger-happy with his words. A PR nightmare in every aspect. There doesn’t seem to be a redemption arc for Brown, at least not in the NFL. Unless some NFL coach believes in second chances? Is it worth the risk?
