John Harbaugh’s unconvincing statement may bring fans the least possible amount of reassurance. The head coach was asked whether Jackson would be ready for the playoffs. If Harbaugh’s curt response is viewed from the lens of the QB’s contract drama, fans will begin to suspect that something is amiss. The Baltimore Ravens’ evasiveness in updating fans about the QB’s status is remarkably strange. Jackson has been out for a month now and the updates do not indicate a positive outcome. Baltimore is 2-2 since the QB’s departure and is currently at 10-6 overall. Regardless of whatever the internal situation is, there’s no doubt that the team will need Jackson in his top form if they hope to find success.
