13 games! That’s how long the Detroit Lions took to seal a win. They were winless for 364 days, that’s one day less than a year. Before the game, rookie coach Dan Campbell was still searching for a victory at home.

Detroit can definitely be called the worst team in the NFL right now and also the epicenter for many Twitter jokes. They almost blew their win against the Minnesota Vikings as well. Although it was due to the successful game-winning drive by quarterback Jared Goff that saved them the day.

Detroit Lions sealing a win against Minnesota Vikings

The timer went down to four seconds when the final play of the game began. The Lions trailed the Vikings by 23-27 and were desperately searching for a touchdown in those final seconds of the game. That’s when QB Jared Goff connected with the wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown for a touchdown that successfully gave the Lions their long-awaited win.

The home crowd went bonkers as they came to know that the Detroits have won. At least now they could have a sigh of relief that they won’t end the season winless. However, the happiest person in the field was coach Dan Campbell. He was seen celebrating as he had just won the championship.
