As per the NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, Colin Kaepernick hasn’t had the best out of the NFL in the last five seasons. After his protest against racial and social injustices in the US, Kaepernick has found it hard to make a solid comeback. But he is thriving with optimism. As a result, Sharpe expressed he was wrong about his attitude towards Kaep’s workout with the Raiders.

Colin Kaepernick was involved in a workout with the Las Vegas Raiders, hoping to reclaim his spot in the NFL. Earlier, the Raiders owner, Mark Davis, also gave his blessings to Kaepernick. All things merry, even after the workout, Kaepernick continues to hope for a contract.
The NFL and Kaepernick’s story is a tragic saga of almost five seasons out of action. A number of insiders criticized the former 49ers‘ QB when he first demonstrated his stand against injustices in the US. Time has passed, but Colin is still trying hard to get into a team’s roster.
Earlier, Shannon Sharpe criticized the move of Kaepernick being invited for a workout with the Raiders. However, later, he expressed his views were wrong, and the QB deserves a chance to re-establish himself in the league.

Speaking on his show, UNDISPUTED: Skip and Shannon, said, “I’m glad to say that I’m wrong; that the Las Vegas Raiders have given him the opportunity to work out for them to showcase. Because if you take 5 seasons off from doing something, it’s gona be very hard to pick that task back up and be good at it. ”

He added, “This is not a 3-year project. He’s gona need to pick up and be good at it immediately. They would want him to pay dividends immediately if something were to happen to Derek Carr.”
With no official update after the workout, Colin Kaepernick remains in the grey area. But Sharpe is thankful to the Raiders for giving the QB another chance to showcase his talent in an attempt to reclaim his position.
