In his show, along with his co-host Skip Bayless, he calls out the Cowboys’ fans for being delusional. He does not think the Cowboys have the ammunition to win the championship.

Even though the Cowboys made it into the playoffs last season, there is a significant shadow of doubt in the legend’s mind. Shannon feels that Dallas can win their division. However, going past that is not on the cards.

As Shannon said, Jerry Jones’ team has the mantle to qualify for the playoffs. Last year, they were first in the NFC East division with 12 wins and five losses. However, they were ultimately tasting a defeat at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers, losing 17-23 in the wild card playoffs.

As soon as they win one game, Skip Bayless, who is the president of the delusion club of the Cowboys, will come out here and bring it. I think we’re onto something. I can see this team going to Arizona this year.”

He said, about the divisional race and championship ambitions, “They [fans] make some very valid points. They’re in the black bad division, and they’re going to win the division. But, they won’t make a championship game next three years.”

The Cowboys hope to repeat their 12-5 heroics like last time in the upcoming season. It is challenging, but their fans have faith in them. America’s Team wants to qualify for the playoffs and eventually see it through to the Super Bowl.
