The walk-off was not limited to the game. Consequently, the notorious WR also left the Buccaneers after a potential fallout with the then HC Bruce Arians. But Sherman recalls the incident and how it transpired on the big screen in the stadium.

This move from Brown prompted Arians to go as far as to say that the WR is no longer a Buc. Even AB moved on and never looked back at his football career. However, there is another side of the story as narrated by Richard Sherman.

In addition, Tom Brady extended his support and concern for his ex-WR as well. He said that the people around him should help him and talk to him. But Brown remained silent on the matter for long, hinting at no possible return to the NFL.

What did Richard Sherman say while recalling the Antonio Brown incident?

While speaking about the incident, Sherman recalls, “You just hear them call, AB! AB! AB! He sittin’ on the bench. Must have rolled his ankle. So we still doing adjustments. And, so defensive go back on the field. We gotta stop, go back and hear AB! AB! And then I see Bruce talkin’ to him. You know Bruce gets fired up, he just cussing nobody out.

He added, “And he started getting fired up sitting right next to AB and I was like what the hell is going on here? I was like okay whatever, I got other things I gotta worry about. And we go back talking to our DBs, hey we should do this and we look up on the jumbo screen and we see him take his shirt off. But it had already happened, it was a replay. Bro, they showed the replay like three times.”

The whole incident’s clip spread like wildfire across the NFL community, questioning the intention behind Brown’s walk-off. Sherman recalls his version and what happened between Bruce Arians and the WR that led to him no longer being a part of the team.
