The Buccaneers are back on the track after they clinched a thumping victory over the Falcons in Week 5. Well, it was more of evasion from the embarrassment for Tom Brady, who lost the previous two straight games. However, the quarterback thinks that there is still room for improvement if they want to dive deep into the season.

The Buccaneers are now 3-2 after slaying the Marcus Mariota-led side on Sunday. Although the game drew a lot of controversies, in the end, it was a win for Brady and Co.

One of the defining moments of the game was just before the half-time whistle when the Buccaneers converted their field goal, and the Falcons failed to add one. While speaking to the reporters in the press conference, the passer explained the twists and turns and the moment they were able to convert the play to their side.

“It was a great play. You know, it could be whatever 10 three and a half end up being 13 nothing, so that was a big kind of six-point swing right there. You know they miss one we make one.” he said.

Moreover, he also mentioned that his entire focus was to control the damage from the last two matchups. And it was essential for him to win the games at home. “Yeah, it’s obviously tough to lose straight at home, right? And we didn’t deserve it, but that’s football. You’ve got to earn it,” Brady said to the reporters.

“We’ve got to get people out there, healthy, playing consistently, we’ve got to keep practicing, make the corrections and continue to improve,” he added. Well, a similar situation was evident in their gameplay on Sunday when they fared well in the first half but failed to sustain the streak in the fourth quarter.

The final score by the end of the final whistle was 21-15 in Bucs’ favor. However, there could have been a shift in the scores if they wouldn’t control the fourth quarter.

When the score was 21-0, Marcus Mariota led an incredible rally to make a comeback, but a controversial flag made all the difference. The Falcons added fifteen points straight into the scorecard. Meanwhile, Tom Brady admitted the difference between his first and the second half game was due to bad execution.

“Bad execution, and it wasn’t our best in the second half. We’ve got to learn from it and get better,” he said to the reporters.
