NFL legend and GOAT Tom Brady is undoubtedly one of the most influential figures when it comes to the NFL. With a glorious career expanding over 28 seasons, Brady is an icon in the minds of the NFL world on and off the field. But despite being someone, who holds a respectable position in the world of football, Brady found himself in the midst of a controversy after an AI bot was created to make an hour-long stand-up comedy session about the 7X Super Bowl champion’s life. Despite Tom Brady threatening to take serious legal actions against the creators of the AI stand-up, they once again blatantly shared their stance on their creation amidst the foreseeable lawsuit.

After calling it quits on his professional footballing career, Tom Brady has been carrying on with his life, taking forward his love for sports with smart investments and also working on his apparel brand.

Tom Brady AI stand-up comedy creators share their stance on the matter

Comedians Will Sasso and Chad Kultgen, who also run a YouTube channel by the name ‘Dudsey’, talked about the lawsuit Brady threatened to charge them with, in a recent video. Brady sent them a cease and desist letter, demanding that they take down the hour-long video of the AI making jokes using Tom Brady’s name and life.

Discussing the cease and desist letter received by the attorneys of the NFL GOAT, the comedians said, “Because the infringing special and teaser could reasonably be interpreted as Mr. Brady’s own speech, Dudesy is also subject to liability for defamation. I mean can this reasonably be interpreted as Mr. Brady’s own speech? There’s stuff in there where he’s talking about s*cking his own d*ck. If that can be reasonably interpreted as Mr. Brady’s own speech, then I think we’re through a threshold that I wasn’t, I don’t think exists. I don’t think this is accurate.”

After releasing the hour-long AI stand-up comedy on Brady, the NFL GOAT has gone on to threaten the comedians about taking legal action in a case of alleged defamation.

AI comedy does not sit well with Brady

After releasing the hour-long stand-up special on YouTube, Tom Brady also caught the news of it. One may understand why Brady was unhappy with the special, as the AI used instances of his life mockingly to crack jokes. The AI even used instances from his Deflategate controversy and his divorce from ex-wife Gisele Bündchen in the special as well. All of these points accumulated to Brady deciding to take legal action against Dudesy.

It will be an interesting period ahead in the life of the NFL GOAT, as fans will be waiting to see how the eventual outcome of this situation plays out.
