The Tampa Bay Buccaneers marked a historic moment, playing and winning the first-ever game in Germany. However, it was not the only inspiring story from the day. Just before boarding the flight to Munich, starting linebacker Devin White, unfortunately, lost his father.
In spite of the adversity, White still managed to put on a great show for the Bucs. And through his fight, he also inspired Tom Brady, who could not stop praising the player.

Devin White is an all-important part of the Bucs’ defense. While the LB played an influential part in the Week 10 game, defeating the Seattle Seahawks could not have been possible without him. Yet, the player had just heard about his father passing away hours prior to his flight. But he responded with a brilliant performance, inspiring his team to victory.
Even his quarterback was in complete awe of the player. Brady, in his latest podcast, Let’s Go! With co-host Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald, he revealed that the LB had a few motivating words for the team after the game. “There’s no place I’d rather be than with you guys to celebrate this victory,” said White, according to Brady.

The 24-year-old LB got 2 sacks and a team-highest 9 tackles during the game. He even forced a fumble in the red zone, creating an all-important moment to make the Bucs come away with the win.
The former 5th overall pick from the 2019 NFL draft opened up during the post-game interview. Accepting that he had a lot of emotions coming up during the game. “But I tried to turn them into good emotions and just keep a great spirit.” said white.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers just won their 5th game of the season, earning them the top spot in NFC South, sporting the best record of 5-5 in a division that is still up for grabs. But now the Pewter Pirates are definitely in the driving seat. More importantly, they did so in Germany. While the NFL organized its first-ever game in the country, the Bucs become the first team to register a win there after conquering the Seattle Seahawks.
TB12 was on top of his game this Sunday. Following a sluggish and worrying start for the offense. Brady started the game promisingly. Going into the second half, Bucs led the Hawks with two scores. The 45-year-old QB threw for 258 yards on a season-high completion rate of 75.86%. While he added to TDs to his tally, he did throw one unwanted interception.

Looking back at the occasion, Brady has nothing but fond memories of the overall experience in Germany, which created an unforgettable ambiance during the game.
