Jacksonville Jaguars are getting a jump start on their mission to reclaim relevance. After a disastrous tenure with the team, the Jags fired Urban Meyer. The club will start this season with a clean slate under new coach Doug Pederson. The Jaguars’ squad isn’t the only thing the new coach wants to revive.

Ever since misdemeanors persist to the surface, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ catastrophic 13-game stint stays a subject of conversation in the year 2021. The starting depth had the worst coaching stint in NFL history. Shad Khan is now going to count on Doug Pederson to change the club’s course.
The No. 1 overall pick, Travon Walker, of the Jacksonville Jaguars, began rookie minicamp on Friday. For the second year running, the franchise received the first draft selection. At the end of the 2022 season, the Jaguars plan to avoid selecting first for the third year in a row. Doug Pederson’s success will require much more than on-field improvements.

He declares, “I do believe there has to be some kind of healing with the situation and everything that transpired last year because it’s just there’s a lack of trust that was broken, I think. For me, it’s about gaining the trust back and they have to see it through me. They have to see the transparency, the honesty. I’ve always said I’m going to be open with them and I want them to be open with me.”

Meyer believes that communication and maintaining an open dialogue are the most important factors. They have allowed to provide some team discussions in this manner, but also believe the guys had also endorsed it and doing very well.

Doug Pederson’s healing stems phrase comes from Urban Meyer’s turbulent time in charge as Jaguars’ head coach. Meyer went 2-11 in his interim period, and the Jaguars’ offense crumbled after the club’s bye week. In recent NFL history, he formed one of the most hazardous conditions in the club.

Urban Meyer’s tenure caused far more harm than it can undo. He took a relatively young franchise and pressured them to believe him, then ended up tarnishing that confidence and stunting the growth of any player on the depth chart. Doug Pederson has a lot of damage to fix this year.
