A couple of days ago, news broke out that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has tested positive for COVID-19. The NFL community was devastated hearing this news as Green Bay Packers. But the narrative took a complete 360 the next day.

The next day, NFL announced that Aaron Rodgers won’t be able to take part against the KC Chiefs owing to him being unvaccinated. While being unvaccinated is understandable, what irked people more was that Rodgers some time ago claimed the opposite. Owing to this, Rodgers and everyone associated with him have been subjected to widespread criticism and backlash from his fans to pundits to TV show hosts.

Aaron Rodgers tests positive for COVID-19; lies about being vaccinated

A couple of days ago, NFL Insider and reliable journalist Tom Pelissero broke the news that Aaron Rodgers had tested positive for COVID-19. This means that the Green Bay quarterback won’t be able to lead his team against the upcoming decisive clash against Patrick Mahomes‘ Kansas City Chiefs.

After the unfortunate news, the NFL world expressed their sympathies towards the quarterback. But the narrative changed suddenly when NFL a day later reported that the quarterback was in fact unvaccinated. This enraged the fans even more because a few months ago, he had claimed to be “immunized”.

Unfortunately for the Packers, this is not the first time that their player will be out with COVID. Before Rodgers, they already lost Joe Barry, Davante Adams, and Kurt Benkert. Luckily, they have a decent replacement for Rodgers. The quarterback will be replaced by 2019 first-round pick Jordan Love, who will start for the first time in his career.

Ever since Rodgers’s vaccination scandal, Matt LaFleur has been bombarded with questions related to him. Yesterday, the Packers coach lost his cool when a reporter irritated him with questions about Aaron Rodgers. La Fleur snapped at the reporter: “Then don’t ask it. Ask something about the Kansas City Chiefs or our football team. I’m not going to answer anything else.”

The head coach was then questioned about Rodgers’ admission in taking Ivermectin. Matt LaFleur hilariously replied that he has no clue what it is. “I don’t even know what that word or term is,” LaFleur said. “…I have no thought on that right now. My thought lies with the team and finding a way to beat the Kansas City Chiefs,” he finished.
