The Kansas City Chiefs QB, Patrick Mahomes, is destined for great things. One of those was getting inducted into the Texas Tech Hall of Fame. The beloved former Raider was in the house as the chief guest when they faced the Baylor Bears on Saturday. His induction offered happiness to the audience, which they would’ve gotten from the team if they had won the game.

However, it was a merry day for the elite QB and his family. His wife, Brittany Mahomes, congratulated and honored her husband for his new achievement.

Even though in his bye week, the superstar QB is winning awards and accolades. The MVP was inducted into the Tech’s Ring of Honor. It consists of coaches and players who made invaluable contributions to the program. Patrick Mahomes is one of the eight prestigious members of the Ring.

During his time as a Raider, Mahomes ran for 835 yards and 12 touchdowns in addition to throwing for 11,252 yards and 93 scores. He even broke the FBS record for most yards (734) against the Oklahoma Sooners.

On Instagram, Brittany Mahomes shared a series of pictures from the unforgettable day. Many fans clamored under the comment section to congratulate the star QB and his family.

To support him on his big day, the Chiefs QB’s entire family joined him. In the pictures, his mother, Randi Mahomes, and former professional basketball player, Patrick Mahomes, could also be seen. Many fans did not fail to notice how proud the father looked while 2 PM accepted his incredible achievement.
