In controversial situations related to covid-19, Aaron Rodgers is a popular name. He often gets under scrutiny over his infamous stances and remains very stringent about them. A-Rod is yet again taking shots over the covid-19 lockdown situation. The quarterback recently called out the state of California for implying such laws harm local ventures.

When Aaron Rodgers is on a podcast tour, he showcases an unapologetic side of himself. The quarterback addressed the hate he got in one of his appearances for not getting the dosage. Rodgers’ outburst is not surprising, as the QB remained critical of such situations in the past. However, he also targeted his home state during his recent appearance at the ‘Club Random with Bill Maher’ Podcast.

During the episode, Aaron Rodgers mentioned, “The state’s going to s**t, but I’m hanging on. I grew up in a small town, very little cases up in Chico, California, but all the small businesses? F***ing gone,”

To give context, Business Insider reported that In September 2020, about 40,000 small companies in California went down. It surpassed any other state since the virus outbreak began. Moreover, When the state enforced its first citywide lockdown a year before, nearly a third of California’s eateries were closed down. The ventures had to lie off two-thirds of employees.

Rodgers’ rant was in response to the state’s Democratic state lawmakers and governor enacting Covid-19 shutdowns and limitations. He was ardent about how strict social distancing laws and mask requirements jolted business in his locality.

Every NFL fan would remember how critical Aaron Rodgers got during the immunization situation. He had to go through a lot of hate. But Rodgers could finally put the final nail in the rumors’ coffin. During his appearance in The Joe Rogan Experience, he revealed the real reason for not getting the dosage. The explanation was his body’s fear of an anaphylactic reaction to polyethylene glycol.

Rodgers mentioned, “I went on the CDC website and they specifically said if you’re allergic to PEG, we do not recommend you get vaccinated with the MRNA vaccinations. The only other one available is Johnson & Johnson, and it just got pulled at the time for blood clots.”

Rodgers has stated that he is not an anti-vax advocate. However, he pointed out it was not the best idea because of allergic reactions.
