Things just keep getting worse for the Green Bay Packers. The franchise which is at loggerheads with its premier QB Aaron Rodgers now stands the risk of losing out their star wideout Davante Adams as well.
While the dispute with Rodgers has been unravelling over months, the issue with Davante Adams is a new one. As per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, contract negotiation talks between Adams and the Packers have fallen through.

The 2020 All-Pro wide receiver enters the 2021 NFL season with just one year left on his current contract. While the Packers still do have time to negotiate a new deal, for now, all contract talks have stopped.
And as soon as word got out of negotiations falling through, Adams and Aaron Rodgers took to social media to share what could be a hint about their future at Green Bay.
The last dance at Green Bay for Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers?
Davante Adams who had a stellar 2020 NFL season alongside his quarterback Aaron Rodgers posted a photo of Chicago Bulls legends Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan.
The iconic Bulls duo were part of a documentary released last year named ‘The Last Dance’ which covered the team through their 1997-98 campaign. For context, this was the last season before GM Jerry Krause planned on overhauling the squad following years of dominating the NBA.

Right after Adams posted the picture on Instagram, Aaron Rodgers followed suit. Posting the same picture on his Instagram account, the Packers duo could be hinting at 2021 being their ‘last dance’ with the Green Bay Packers.
Davante Adams in particular has been vocal about his QBs situation with the Packers front office. The wide receiver even went as far as to say that he could be forced to consider his future with the franchise if Aaron Rodgers does indeed leave.

With Rodgers too reportedly turning down a massive new contract which would’ve made him the highest-paid player in the league, the Packers dynasty could slowly be coming to an end.
