“The Job Is Consuming”: Tom Brady’s $400M Ex-Wife Gisele Bündchen Detailed Her Work-Life Crisis After Being a Mother of Two at the Peak of Her Career

NFL legend Tom Brady and Victoria’s Secret supermodel Gisele Bündchen had a passionate and whirlwind romance that lasted for well over a decade. However, in her memoir, the Supermodel once revealed the crisis in her professional life.

Starting their relationship in 2007, former New England Patriots QB Brady and Bündchen built a close-knit family while openly supporting each other in their professional and personal pursuits. However, once, Bündchen opened up about her struggles during their marriage and while raising their kids, revealing some hidden truths about her life.

Bündchen’s struggles during the marriage

In her memoir, Bündchen shared her experiences after marrying Brady, acknowledging that her career had to take a step back, which posed challenges during the transition. She explained that their son Benny was born in 2009, and after the football season, the family moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Brady’s son Jack. However, they had to return to Boston for Brady’s summer training camp. Bündchen expressed that the new marriage, the arrival of a baby, and the shift to a new life in New England presented significant changes for her.

Despite not knowing anyone in Boston, her love for Tom motivated her to find ways to make their marriage work. She mentioned how her previous freedom to come and go as she pleased was replaced by the responsibilities of a growing family. Bündchen also revealed that the role of being a mother, especially with the arrival of Benjamin and Vivian, proved to be more challenging than her work as a model. She acknowledged, “Any mother with little kids knows that the job is consuming.” Bündchen further shared that Tom’s demanding football schedule during the season required her to take on most of the family responsibilities. This meant she had to shoulder a significant portion of the household duties and childcare obligations.

Bündchen’s life after divorce

Last October, the Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen and American football star Tom Brady ended their 13-year marriage. In an interview, Bündchen expressed the difficulties she faced, stating, “It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know?” She also revealed that the divorce was akin to the “death of my dream.”

However, she added that despite the challenges, she has always supported him and wished the best for Brady. In the present, Bündchen is seen embracing a happy and cheerful demeanor as she redirects her focus toward her modeling career and embraces her life as a single woman.
