The NFL world remained witness to one of the most unattractive displays of a gridiron in recent history on Thursday. The Denver Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts faced off each other at the Empower Field at TNF. However, the match ended in a low-scoring tie finishing in overtime at a loss to Russell Wilson & Co. A local TV Station in Denver apologized to the fans for watching the match on their TV station.

Both the teams were coming from a loss in their previous game and a win was much-needed. However, as the match went on, the players remained defensive, and ugly physical altercations became the highlighting point of the match.
Denver TV Station is at a loss for words on this horrid display
Troy Renck and Nick Rothschild, two reporters from a Denver TV Show, stated their own disappointment over the game in the after-match show.
“Troy, I just feel the need to apologize to the viewers,” Rothschild said while the two stood in the corridor of Empower Field at Mile High. “I know we didn’t play, we didn’t even run this broadcast, but the fact you had to watch that on our air, I feel bad. I was here and I didn’t even want to watch it.”

Many of the spectators left the game even before the end of the fourth quarter. However, it was surprising because the match was a really close one. But, the flow of the match was disappointing.
In embarrassing statistics, not a single touchdown happened during the match both for the Broncos and the Colts. The match also recorded 12 punts, 4 interceptions, and 10 sacks.
Russell Wilson slammed by NFL Twitter for his performance
After the match, Russell Wilson created a shocking memory at the press conference. He said, “Broncos’ country, Let’s ride!” disinterestedly at the end of the event. As expected, the Broncos’ fans fumed at his behavior and blasted him on social media.
One fan advised him to play better on the field in the upcoming matches.
