Wright seems to have gotten used to the knack of delivering quick facts with firm stands on various topics that excite a fan. Among such interesting topics, one that stands quite tall is the quarterback competition between Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers. However, Wright made the distinction quite clear between Rodgers and Mahomes. He is of the view that Rodgers is better in terms of records, but Mahomes is more consistent during the pre-season when compared to Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers: An impact maker and Mahomes is the playmaker

The 38-year-old Packers QB is one of the most sought-after stars in the history of the NFL. He plays a crucial role on his side. The superstar also has a considerable impact on the team in two ways. One, as their impact player and two, as a bridging link between the newcomers and the experienced players. On that note, Rodgers delivers an impact not just on his own game, but also through playing the team game. This is a fact admitted by Packers coach, Matt LaFleur.

Mahomes is an impact maker who delivers consistent results and also performs as a one-man army in his team. It is his performance that his team, Kansas City Chiefs, relies on to yield better results. The 26-year-old, who joined the Chiefs in 2017, is a vital cog in their unit. He also possesses the best career quarterback rating at 105.8, an NFL record.
