However, the 49ers star is not likely to be traded for one year. The reason? His no-trade clause.

Garoppolo’s new deal totals $6.5 million. It features incentives, which means his money sums $16 million.

As a result, the dependable star will play as Trey Lance’s backup in the NFL.
