Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Ndamukong Suh was present on the ESPN NFL LIVE show where he expressed his thought on Gronk’s retirement. Suh had expected that Gronkowski would play this season for the Buccaneers but the news surprised us all.
Suh in the show said, “I really thought he would, but it makes a lot of sense. I think he wants to retire and enjoy his life as he’s been throughout this offseason, but really have an opportunity to say, let me pause, let me really see how the team goes, and then maybe consider coming back or really just stay retired.”
Ndamukong Suh, a free agent, he talked about the experience of playing with Rob Gronkowski on the same team. Suh said, “From a teammate standpoint, excellent, fun-loving, a lot of energy. Obviously, that’s what he’s known for when it comes from a teammate perspective and actually playing, he brings in that grit and grinds and he’s a red-zone threat, moving the chains.”
Gronkowski has always been known to be that fun-loving guy. But when it comes to playing football, he puts all his focus and energy into winning the game.

Moreover, Suh thinks Gronk has excellently done his job as a tight end in his eleven years of NFL career. Suh started his NFL career with Detroit Lions in 2010 and played five seasons for them. After playing for Miami Dolphins for three years and Los Angeles Rams for one year, he joined Buccaneers in 2019.
