Patrick Mahomes had a forgettable outing against the Indianapolis Colts. His team, Kansas City Chiefs, suffered a 20-17 loss against the Colts. It marked one of the major upsets in the NFL this season. The 27-year-old lost his cool at the end of the first half.

Mahomes headed into the locker room with frustration. He got into a spat with offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. The duo volleyed words at will as head coach Andy Reid stepped in to direct Mahomes away from Bieniemy. Later on, Mahomes played the incident down. He said it happened in the heat of the game.

Talking about the altercation, Mahomes said there was nothing too serious about the conversation. “I wanted to go try to score. That’s just who I am. We were in a tough situation. I believe it was second- or third-and-20, something like that, and probably the smart decision was to go to halftime. But I’m always going to want to score.”
PM15 also gave details on what caused the issue between the duo. “I pretty much just said, ‘Let me have a chance at it,’ and he was just like, ‘Let’s get to the locker room and get to the next half.’ I don’t know if that’s an altercation. That was the end of the conversation,” he added.
Meanwhile, former Chiefs RB LeSean McCoy joined in the argument between Mahomes and Bienemy. The 34-year-old added in a tweet that the latter always make arguments with the players. He also said Bienemy knows nothing about passing or play calling.

Mahomes is ready for the Bucs mission
The talented star completed 20-of-35 passes for 262 yards in the game. He also registered one touchdown against one interception. The NFL superstar feels he can improve his performance in the next game.

Kansas will head into Week 4 with introspection. They are up against Brady on Sunday night. Tampa will also look to get back on track following Sunday’s loss against the Packers. Patrick Mahomes will have a point or two to prove, as he will lock horns with the NFL legend, Tom Brady.
