Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson did not have a smooth transition to his new team, and it seems to be slowly becoming bothersome. Watson was taking part in the Browns’ practice session in a 7-on-7 drill and continues to show some rustiness as the new member of the Browns roster. During the session, in a regular NFL play, Watson threw an unnecessary interception toward safety John Johnson III to the dismay of fans online.

The video of the play was posted on Twitter by WEWS reporter Camryn Justice, which garnered a lot of attention. While it wasn’t the first time Watson threw an interception during the OTAs, his errors are testing the patience of the Browns fanbase.
While his mistakes are rare occurrences, his situation off the field has left him vulnerable to facing more scrutiny.
With the mandatory minicamp starting from June 14, time is slowly ending for Watson as he might take the field under immense pressure. With Baker Mayfield out of the picture, the Browns fans hope their new starting QB kicks into gear. The 2022 NFL campaign will test the resolve of a Browns roster that is facing many questions and a lot of distractions beyond the football field.
