The Green Bay Packers made their international debut during the Week 5 game. Aaron Rodgers and the Pack gave some head-to-head action against the New York Giants; A team who stands unbeaten on the soil of the United Kingdom. The green and gold gave it their all but failed to take the NFC East team down. However, the Green Bay QB mentioned the one thing to blame for their first international loss.

During Aaron Rodgers’ appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Ty Schmit questioned the field conditions in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. He asked because of the massive seam down the turf. Even David Bakhtiari did not compete. A-Rod gave his thoughts on that and mentioned how the turf did not favor them.
A-Rod blames the soil!
Aaron Rodgers mentioned, “Well first, I believe that might have been a key factor in [David Bakhtiari] not going the whole time. It was long flight and then plan on field surfs. I thought the turf was in was in fine shape. It was maybe a little firmer than some of the other surfaces. Maybe above no other surface but maybe a little more firm than the average surface.”
However, Aaron Rodgers also emphasized Schmit’s first statement. He likes the fact that the stakes are high. It’s not like that’s the expectation every time someone steps onto the field. A-Rod welcomes it, and the franchise knows the consequences if they do not win.
Rodgers and Green Bay ended up losing their first international game. But they are now focusing on the upcoming ones. For Week 6, they would clash with the Jets at Lambeau Field.
Aaron Rodgers is upset about having negative talks in the locker room
It looks like Jaire Alexander has concerns. As per ESPN, Alexander said he was not worried about the loss from the Giants. However, it would vex him if they lost to the Jets. The CB added everyone is in an unusual scenario. With new surroundings and sleeping habits. It’s a substantial change in London. That statement irked Rodgers. And it did not limit to Alexander; he learned it from others too.

It fed Aaron Rodgers up with all the talk about losing next week. He described himself as a solid believer in the influence of words and manifestation. However, he must monitor his team, as this may not help them win games. They discussed it in the locker room, and he did not appreciate it.
