The Tennessee Titans had a decent season in 2019. They made it to the AFC Championship final where they ultimately lost to eventual Super Bowl LIV winners – Kansas City Chiefs. However, the young Titans side showed signs of promise throughout the course of the 2019-20 NFL season.
One particular bright light on the Titans roster was young wide receiver – AJ Brown. Brown made his NFL debut in 2019 against Cleveland Browns in the opening game of the season and has impressed ever since. Certain NFL analysts have tipped Brown to perform even better than New Orleans Saints’ Michael Thomas this year. Can the former Ole Miss man live up to these expectations?

While speaking to NFL Network recently, former Super Bowl XLV winner – James Jones – was asked to pick the most exciting young WR in the NFL this season. He did not even flinch before choosing Tennessee Titans man – AJ Brown. “That’s easy for me man. It is AJ Brown, Tennessee Titans. I mean this kid is special. We seen him jump on the scene last year and I mean, you can hand the ball off to him, you can throw the ball to him, you could put him back there at quarterback.”

“(With) The ball in this kid’s hand, he is explosive, he is dangerous and it’s only his first season, We’ve seen him take over this league. You cannot play this kid – man to man. He is too big, too strong, too fast and they (Titans) like to give him the ball in every which way. This kid is going to be special in our league for years to come and that division better watch out,” Jones concluded.
