“Terrible to Live With”: Unstoppable Health Crisis for NFL Legend Leaves Fans Sympathetic

In the 90s, the NFL world saw a rise of a legendary RB with a short career in the league. In a career that lasted only three seasons from 1987 to 1990, this retired NFL player dazzled fans with his explosive athleticism and entertaining game on the field. The dual sport athlete not only played in the NFL but also made a career playing baseball in the MLB, becoming one of its kind legend in the history of American Sports.

But despite a short and sweet NFL career, the NFL and MLB legend has been facing a rare health condition for over a year. This has left fans feeling sympathetic for the 60-year-old ex-athlete. 

Bo Jackson suffers from an unusual health complication

In his rookie season, the former Las Vegas Raiders RB played only 7 games, as he was committed to baseball more than football. Last month, when a statue of MLB great Frank Thomas was revealed in Auburn, many players paid their visit for the occasion. But Bo Jackson was missing from the festivities. And he recently revealed the reason for this absence was a medical condition he has been facing for almost a year.

Jackson said he has been dealing with chronic hiccups since July last year. This was why he couldn’t make it to Auburn last month. He also said that doctors have failed to identify the root cause of the hiccups, as traditional remedies did not seem to help the ex-dual sport athlete as well.

While Jackson continues to find a way to deal with the rare condition, fans have come forward to offer their support and love for the 60-year-old legend.

With Jackson’s health update, fans took to social media to show their support and sympathy for the ex-Raiders RB as he figures out a possible solution to the medical condition 

One fan felt that it must be hard living with hiccups for such a long time, hoping that Bo Jackson could figure it out
