In a post by Rap Sheet, Trevon Diggs encountered an injury during a 1-1 practice drill session, resulting in an ACL tear in his left knee. The All-Pro cornerback is confirmed to sit out of this season’s games. Diggs left the field on crutches, leaving behind thousands of concerned fans.

Fellow Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott took to the media on Thursday, saying, “Some of you saw him leaving the field so prayers for him; simple as that.” The injury report was followed by torrents of comments from fans who aren’t “digging” this news well. Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons backs him up in his post, saying, “I am my brothers keeper! I got you 7! No more needs to be said!“
The 2021 NFL record-breaker, with 11 interceptions, led his team to three out of seven defensive wins over the last two games. Being a valuable player in the team, fans fear that his absence on the field can off-balance the team’s chemistry.
